Tour Black New England™ leads tours to historic landmarks tied to the Black narrative and experience dating back to the 1600s.
Tours include visits to landmarks associated with Martin and Coretta Scott King during their time in Boston, the slave trade in New England and other venues.
Led by Emmy-nominated TV news journalist, documentary filmmaker and historian Clennon L. King, this native Georgian-turned Bostonian has published work on MLK's time in New England, and produced an award-winning documentary about MLK's bloodiest civil rights campaign, St. Augustine, FL.
